Facepunch disabled monetization for this game just 14 hours after its release. SplitFund was built around one central idea: 50% of the game’s PlayFund allocation was meant to be shared with the 15 best players of each season through the official sbox.game monetization system. Without monetization, there is no revenue to distribute and the game’s core concept can no longer function. The reason for the decision is unknown, and we do not intend to appeal it. As a result, SplitFund cannot continue development or exist in the form it was created for.
