Meet Professor Hoot!
Do you know how to play classic card games? Don't worry, Professor Hoot will teach you in a fun, low stress environment. Once you know what you're doing you can impress your friends in multiplayer.
Professor Hoot walks you through five classic games then sits beside you and coaches every decision until the math feels like feathers on your wings.
The games
• Blackjack — four modes with full casino rules: split any two ten-value cards, resplit to four hands, double after split, late surrender. Perfect-strategy hints and honest odds talk.
• Texas Hold'em — the world's game, with a live coach reading your outs, pot odds and equity in real time.
• Five Card Draw — the traditional classic. One swap, five secrets, everyone's poker face.
• Pai Gow Poker — seven cards, two hands, one joker. Hoot grades every split against the house way and explains the rule.
• Mahjong — Hoot's House rules: 13 tiles, chi·pon·kan, fan scoring, and a Newbie tile mode that spells everything out.
Every practice table has Professor Hoot coaching live: hand strength, outs, pot odds, win chances, and why.
Hoot grades every decision — all four games score your choices against the math, with a post-hand review showing exactly where you played by the book and where you didn't.
Skill dashboard — per-concept accuracy (soft totals, pot odds, tile efficiency, house-way…) with mastery badges at 90%+, plus a mistake journal that tracks your most-repeated errors and turns them into personalized tips.
The coach adapts — master a concept and Hoot tips his cap instead of lecturing; struggle with one and he assigns the Pro School chapter that fixes it.
Three drill modes — blackjack strategy flashcards, poker pot-odds calls, mahjong best-discard puzzles. Instant grading, streaks, and every rep counts toward mastery.
Hoot's Pro School: a 14-chapter advanced poker course value betting, bluff selection, board textures, ranges, blockers, bankroll, tilt each with a 3-question quiz. Pass all 14 for Hoot's Honor Roll. The material other sites lock behind a paywall, free at a bird casino.
Hold-TAB reference charts, hover explanations, and tutorials in every wing.
