Description
Spikey Adventure A fast, brutal 2.5D platformer starring a potted cactus. Spikey is a little cactus in a terracotta pot with one goal: reach the water drop at the end of every level. Between him and a drink stand saws, spikes, cannons, flamethrowers, lasers and a lot of very bad ideas. You will die. A lot. And you'll respawn instantly, every single time. Beat the campaign, then build your own levels and share them with everyone. How it plays Tight, instant controls: run, jump, slide down walls and wall-jump. Hold towards a wall to climb it with shorter kicks. Instant respawn: die and you're back in a split second. No loading, no waiting. Every attempt is the same: the whole level resets when you die, so saws, flames and lasers always move with the same timing. Learn it, then master it. Checkpoints: touch a flag to make it your new starting point. The clock starts when you move: take your time to read the level before you go. Replay of all your attempts: finish a level and watch every one of your tries run at once, deaths included. Personal records: best time and fewest deaths for every level, campaign and community alike. The campaign 10 hand-made levels across the desert, from your first jumps to a final gauntlet that puts everything together. Each level introduces new hazards and new ways to move. What's out to get you Hazards - Spikes, and spikes that pop in and out on a timer - Fixed saws, saws riding rails, and saws swinging on chains - A wall of saws that chases you across the whole level - Cannons that shoot in 8 directions - Flamethrowers that grow, burn and pull back - Timed lasers that cut through the level until they hit a wall Enemies - Walkers that patrol their platform - Stubborn walkers that never turn back... until they hit something - A needle-shooting cactus that watches you and fires when you get close - Slimes that crawl along walls and ceilings - A one-eyed sandstone idol that charges when you step into its path Terrain - Springs that launch you up or sideways - Conveyor belts, crumbling blocks and moving platforms - Red and blue blocks that swap every time you hit a switch - Blinking blocks that phase in and out - Slippery walls you can't cling to Level Editor Every element of the game is yours to build with. Paint levels tile by tile or fill whole areas at once Copy, cut and paste parts of a level Rotate spikes, cannons, springs and more, and tune each piece: fire rate, flame length, timing, speed... Decorate with cacti, rocks, fences, skulls, clouds and more, on layers behind and in front of the action Pick a background desert sunset or night... and more to come Resize your level whenever you like Test it instantly and jump straight back to editing The whole editor works with mouse and keyboard or a controller.
