The Great Dwarven Dig

The Great Dwarven Dig is a 2D adventure game centred around digging deep beneath the earth, uncovering valuable ores, and exploring the forgotten ruins of an ancient dwarven civilisation. Among dwarves, there is an old saying: no dwarf can ever dig too deep. There is always time for one more round of digging! This game was made for the 2026 Game Jam and uses Box2D and other s&box features to create a unique digging game that includes real water physics and dynamic lighting throughout your dig. At the moment, progression is greatly accelerated to showcase the plans for the game, so it acts more like a mini demo. The game does use some AI art. However, in most cases where AI art has been used, it has been edited by hand afterwards to improve its look and better match the games style. Even so, these assets are only placeholders. The final game will contain no AI art and will feature a more refined and consistent visual style. Please let me know any bugs or issues you have! ~Mur
