Built for S&box Community Game Jam #1 Welcome to Monkeybrains A simple and wacky monkey survival army building game set deep in the heart of an untamed jungle. You've set camp in the middle of the wilderness but you’re not alone. By day, you expand your banana-fueled base. By night, you prepare for chaos. Every night is harder so be well prepared and see how long you will survive for. How to play Monkeybrains: 1. TREES! • Cutting down trees drops bananas, nuts and gathers wood into your inventory. 2. Monkeys • You will start off with two monkeys. They will cut trees for you and gather the wood into your storage. • Your monkeys will also fight for you once they see a enemy but only if they are in fighting mode (gatherers won't fight). • The monkeys have 2 jobs, gathering or attacking. • Monkeys will mate and make new monkeys who will be part of your colony. • Bananas keeps your monkeys well fed and make sure they are well fed because these monkeys won't work for free. • Nuts raise your monkeys mating meter. Once that hits a certain level....well...lets just say you know the rest. 3. Upgrade your base • Use wood from inventory and your storage to upgrade your bases level, each level gives the base more health. • The more you upgrade the more damage and health your player will have 4. Night Time • At night lions will start attacking your monkeys and your campfire so watch out and don't let them destroy the campfire otherwise it's GAME OVER.
