Goofball
| Summary | A physics based friendslop football game played by critters in the forest. |
|---|---|
| Description |
[Image] GOOFBALL is online arcade football for up to 8 friends. Line up, snap it, and throw it downfield to a critter who may or may not be looking. Every tackle, dive and stiff-arm is full-body physics, so no two hits land the same way. Most of them land badly. Watching over all of it is the zebra. He whistles every play dead, throws a flag for every hold, and walks out to explain each call to your face, hand signals and all. FEATURES • 1 to 8 players online. Bring whoever you've got. Bots fill the empty spots, so two friends is a game and so is one. • Everything is physics. Tackles, dive-tackles, stiff-arms and shoulder charges are full ragdolls. When you go down, you go down in a heap. • A referee who takes this very seriously. Holding, pass interference, roughing the passer, false starts, encroachment. He catches all of it, and he'll tell you about it in a speech bubble while everyone waits. • Fumbles are a brawl. Hit a runner hard enough and the ball pops loose. Dive on it, then mash until the zebra comes over to break up the pile. • A real playbook. Slants, smash, flood, counter and more, with your routes chalked on the grass. Don't like the call? Audible at the line. • Proximity voice chat. Your voice comes out of your critter and its mouth flaps along. Trash talk works best up close. • Call for the ball. Throw your hand up and a bot quarterback will throw it to you, whether or not that's a good idea.[Image]
