Blob Mob Rescue
| Summary | Guide the blobs from their escape pod to the extraction point. |
|---|---|
| Description |
Rescue the blob mob The blobs have landed their escape pod but need your help to get to the mothership. Draw energy beams to guide the blob mob to safety. Campaign mode • 20 levels to solve • Bonuses awarded for meeting the rescue quota, rescuing all the blob mob and for remaining energy after escape • Use different tools for the job:• Standard energy beam • Bouncy energy beam • Speedy energy beam • Time slow • Eraser Level editor Want to make your own level? The built-in level editor let's you create your own custom chaos. Levels created can be shared with an encoded string, allowing you to have other players try and solve your puzzles. And you can import other player's codes to try theirs too. Design I was a big fan of Line Rider and wanted to pay homage to it. I also love the old pre-rendered 'pseudo-3D' sprites from the Super Nintendo days, so all the models here were pre-rendered into spritesheets to emulate that. The toon shader was made using The Sickly Wizard's technique. 3D models, props and backgrounds were made in Blender and Material Maker. Music and sound effects were made in Strudel (and heavily distorted effects in Audacity of me doing the blob mob voices). Acknowledgements In-game cursors were made by ARG. Game over sound by betacut. Impacted font from DaFont.Rescue the blob mob
