ASYNC OPERATIONS UPDATE AVAILABLE NOW (Beta gameplay) 🚧 BACK&ROOMS is currently in Alpha and is still under active development. Alpha 0.11 expands the game beyond its original procedural prototype, establishing the complete foundation for Async field operations, team expeditions, investigation, evidence recovery and extraction. • 🏢 Begin inside the Async complex, assemble your crew in the Social Sector, prepare field roles and deploy through the LPMDS. • 🧩 Explore an endlessly generated liminal world where architecture becomes increasingly unstable and unnatural as you travel deeper. • 📷 Document anomalies, recover incomplete research from previous expeditions and extract your evidence to receive Research Value. • 👥 Play alone or prepare for cooperative expeditions with shared objectives, field roles, text chat and push-to-talk voice communication. • 💡 Experience fluorescent lighting, liminal fog, unpredictable blackouts and a restrained scientific-industrial atmosphere inspired by the late 1980s and early 1990s. • 🏛️ Discover procedural cubicles, pillar halls, corridors, sunken carpet pits, red-lit rooms, research remnants and large vertically expanded spaces. • ⚙️ Customize audio, controls, camera behavior, graphics, performance, HUD and communication settings through the expanded configuration system. • 📋 Complete Async Field Directives, investigate unusual transmissions and return through the Threshold for a detailed expedition report. • 🚪 Future updates will continue expanding Level 0, cooperative systems, entities, hidden sectors, environmental storytelling, procedural architecture, animations and investigation mechanics. ⚠️ Alpha Notice Some areas may contain unfinished details, placeholder content, lighting inconsistencies or unexpected procedural layouts.
