SummaryManage a farm, Delve deep into dungeons and maintain relationships with the Wildacre folk.
Description
Farm by day, delve by night. Bring up to 16 friends - one shared farm, one shared fortune. Join Discord at discord.playwildacre.com You've inherited a run-down farm at the edge of a quiet valley - a few overgrown fields, a farmhouse, and a village of neighbours who already know your name. Beneath the world lies the Delve: floor after floor of the old kingdom's buried halls, full of things worth bringing back up. Core Concepts • A living world - A full day/night cycle, seasons and weather over a hand-built valley. Villagers live real routines: they open shops, drink at the tavern, attend the sermon, and turn in at night. Stop them for a chat and they'll stop for you. • Farming that matters - Till, plant, water, harvest. Crops follow the seasons, sprinklers automate the morning round, and the shipping bin turns produce into credits for the whole farm. • The Delve - A dungeon under the valley that's never the same twice: locked doors and hidden keys, sealed rooms that only open over your enemies' bones, tiered chests, and floors that keep going down. Go deeper for better loot - but everything you're carrying rides on making it back. • Friends & neighbours - Build friendships with a village of characters through daily chats and well-chosen gifts (choose badly and they'll remember that too). Hearts unlock warmer welcomes, favours, and work. • Notice board & story quests - Daily jobs with real time limits, posted rewards, and the choice to take them or leave them - plus questlines offered by the villagers themselves. • Crafting & gear - Recipes are learned as well as earned: some you know from day one, others come from schematics found in shops, quests, and the deep. Tools, weapons, armor, and gadgets - and a blacksmith to mend what the Delve chews up. • An honest day's work - Energy wears down with every swing of the hoe, axe, and pick. Spend it well, sleep it off, and start tomorrow fresh. • Co-op built in - Up to 4 players on one farm. Shared credits, shared quests, shared mornings - the day only rolls over when everyone's in bed. The Delve & Risk The valley is safe. The Delve is not. Down there: • Floors are generated fresh for every run - no memorised routes, no safe habits. • Goblins, skeletons, and worse hold the rooms between you and the way down. • If you're knocked out, the materials and produce you were carrying spill where you fell - recoverable on your next run down, if the floor still stands. Your tools and gear stay yours. • You wake up back at the farm, and the fields don't care what happened underneath them. Every trip down is the same bargain: one more floor, or head home with what you've got. Early in Development Wildacre is still early in development. The core loop is playable - farm, village, and Delve are all in - but it's actively being built, balanced, and expanded. Expect rough edges now, and a lot more to come: new crops, villagers, recipes, floors, and features are on the way.
