The Storm [WIP]

My project for s&box gamejam with theme "Replicate". I meant to submit this project but didnt have time to finish a playable prototype. A couple days later, I publish this fully playable demo of this puzzle game "The Storm". This game was made in 12 days, by only one person. What is it ? A puzzle game inspired by Portal, where you have to use the replication devices (sampler, and spawner) to solve each test. You can even duplicate your own body, and then control your clones ! You will have to think creatively to beat 8 challenging puzzles. Controls : E - Interact F - Handle R - Restart Tab - Switch bodies. Known issues and future plans : Moving platforms : While standing on it, do not move until the platform has stopped ! You may easily fall. Also do not stack boxes on top of each other on platforms. Place the boxes side by side. There is enough room. Follow these instructions and everything will work. The platforms will be reworked very soon for a more carefree experience. Object identification : A big issue is the difficulty to remember which object was spawned to which spawner and this becomes important in later puzzles. I will add color schemes to help keep track of that and also "wires" to help the player know what devices activate what doors, platforms or spawners. Story and narration : Once I am done with the gameplay, I will make the environnements pretty, I also wrote a story that will be narrated through the experience. Some voice acting have already been recorded. If you beat the last room, congratulations, it's a tough one !! There is nothing after this, yet. Stay tuned !
