This Game is a project in development by DarklandStudios. The game is inspired by the original Fortwars game mode on Garry's Mod made by Darkspider and later remade by Sportsfreak. How do you play the game? The goal in Fortwars is to obtain and hold the "ball" for your team. The game starts with a 5 minute build time followed by 10 minutes of battle time. As long as someone on your team holds the ball, the timer will count down. Once the timer reaches zero your team wins. There are lots of strategies to choose from. Some people will play defensive and build strong forts, others will focus on the fight time and be aggressive attackers. It's up to you to decide what play style you prefer. Controls: • Press 'M' to open the class menu anytime. • Mouse Wheel to change weapons/tools. • Grav Gun (Orange): Right-click to grab ball, Left-click to throw. • Physics Gun (Cyan): Left-click to hold a prop, hold 'E' to rotate, hold 'E' + 'Shift' to snap rotate. • Prop Gun (White): Press Q to select more props, Left-click to place prop, hold 'E' to rotate, hold 'E' + 'Shift' to snap rotate. Will this be a 1:1 recreation of Fortwars from Garry's Mod? No. Our plan is to keep the good and rid the outdated and frankly limiting aspects from our Garry's Mod days. S&box has so much more to offer so making the exact same game would be a disservice to this wonderfully versatile platform.
